Well the Baby Boomers are starting to retire now and yet they do not seem to be slowing down. Thus it would be unwise for their offspring to count on any inheritance because they seem to be spending it fine and having a very excellent time doing so.
Just the other day I saw a million dollar Prevost Motor Coach zipping down the freeway with one little bumper sticker on the back as it passed me doing about 85 mph; the bumper sticker said, yes you guessed it; We are spending our Children’s inheritance. And I must add; Doing it in style too. Wow, see ya and they are off to see the sites and the country on an unforgettable road trip.
The Baby Boomers many of them will be living to be 100 years old and most well into their 90s and healthier and much happier than their own parents who either didn’t or barely made it there. They will have fuller and more productive lives and still have their smarts about them too.
Baby Boomers are going to go out with a boom; a sonic boom that is, shock wave and all. Anyone who believes that this generation is going to roll over and lie flat has another thing coming. They have worked hard and want to play hard and have hard cash to do it too.
